Micaela Morey is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and actor. She is a reed doubler (specializing in Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute), and she is also proficient in guitar and ukulele. Vocally, she can sing many different styles, including Musical Theatre, Jazz, Folk, and Classical. She is also a singer/songwriter. 

Micaela studied at the University of Toronto, where she received a Bachelor of Music. She studied with both Wallace Halladay and Rob Carli, two well-renowned saxophone players in the Toronto reed community. Micaela is currently studying Theatre Arts Performance at George Brown Theatre School.​

Micaela continues to develop herself as an actor and musician during her studies at George Brown.​ She is currently the Co-Artistic and Managing Director of Pirate Life Theatre Toronto.
